Dato' Dr. Hartini Zainudin, a dedicated activist with a Ph.D. from Columbia University, and co-founder of Yayasan Chow Kit, a pioneering 24/7 child-crisis center in Malaysia. Fo over three decades, she has tirelessly advocated for marginalized children, offering them protection, counseling, and access to basic needs. Beyond her role as a consultant for the Malaysian Red Crescent, she engages in law and policy reforms, fundraising, and outreach. Passionate about child welfare, she addresses issues like child marriages, while contributing significantly to the Voice of the Children NGO. Her impactful work extends to international consultancy with the UN and involvement in crucial task forces, demonstrating her commitment to safeguarding children's rights.
